Structural Retrofit

Volume Survey

Selas Fluid Processing Corporation brought Dumack Engineering in to do a structural retrofit for a series of existing hydrogen pyrolysis furnaces located in South America.  Our solution was to analyze the existing 250 foot high structure utilizing Ramsteel and STAAD, design 4 space frames onto the existing superstructure & install a 250+ foot truss frame to hang between the existing furnaces.

International Salt hired Dumack Engineering to determine the volume of the existing rock salt stockpile located at the Novolog cargo facility in Falls Township, PA.  the salt stockpile consisted of a 3 acre footprint and approximately 90 feet high.

The volume calculations were independently verified, and confirmed by International Salt.
